Data are reported at public price level, i.e. including wholesale and retail margins and Value Added Tax. For those countries reporting market data at other than public price level, the data have been adjusted to public price level according to best estimates.
Note: Some unusual fluctuations in the data of non-euro countries may be due to exchange rate effects.
